oud (the website at oud.so) is an independent project by Uğur Sözen, who runs it ("we"). by using oud you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. if you don't agree, please don't use it.
oud is a directory and player for internet radio. we don't produce, host or own any of the stations, programmes or music you hear. each stream comes from its broadcaster, and station details come largely from the community-run radio browser directory, so we can't promise that a station is online, that its details are accurate, or that its content suits you. broadcasters are responsible for their own content and its licensing.
listening is for your personal, non-commercial use. playing a station in public places such as a shop or venue may need licences from rights organisations, which are your responsibility.
if you are a broadcaster or rights holder and believe a station listed on oud infringes your rights, shouldn't be listed, or has wrong details, please contact us at ziegfiroyt@gmail.com with the station's name or link, what the problem is, and how we can reach you. we review every notice and remove or correct listings promptly where appropriate.
you can listen without an account. bookmarks and lists need one, which you create by signing in with google or with a code sent to your email. you must be at least 13 years old, give an email address you control, and keep access to it secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account. one person per account.
the lists you make are yours. if you share a list, anyone with its link can see its name and stations. don't give lists names that are unlawful, hateful or infringe someone else's rights; we may remove a shared list that does.

we may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
the oud name, design and software belong to Uğur Sözen. we give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them as these terms describe. don't reverse engineer or modify our software except where the law allows it.
oud is a small, independent service. we may change features, add or remove stations, or stop the service.
you can stop using oud any time. to delete your account, email ziegfiroyt@gmail.com.
oud is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. we aren't responsible for stations, their content or their availability.
to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to us$50. nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived by contract.
we may update these terms. we'll change the date above, and for significant changes we'll let account holders know by email before they apply. using oud after that means you accept the new terms.
